Now days you can google almost anything; Learning anything about everything has become so easy. Facts are presented to you, images, evidence, sourced. What all this googling fails to include is psychological aspects, how you feel. Hell, the paradox is that even now how you feel is studied - before even that becomes scientific fact or generalised to form a theory. You can google how to be happy or how to get over someone and there is no shortage of websites oozing with advice. They throw around the advice that you should get rid of things that don’t make you happy or have a negative impact on your life. But what if the single thing that makes you so happy is also the thing that makes you sad? What if you’re stubborn enough and can’t let go? What if you’re the kind of person that always sees the best in people? All these what if’s amount to anomalies - things that no dubious amount of scientific theories or studies can account for. And under all of these facts and advice we are thrown, our heart is still the most powerful thing. Very rarely do our heart and head play on the same team and it highlights the fact that unless our heart is set on doing something, no amount of transformation of the head can help. I guess what I’m trying to say is that in order to change, you must set your heart free first - free of all the burdens, shackles and everything holding it down. Don’t get me wrong, the head is a powerful thing but nothing… nothing is more powerful than the heart. 6 notes
